Stunning house beautifully decorated with loads of room for a large family. The wood burning stove is lovely to look at on a cold winters night. John had the central heating on when we arrived which was great. The view are simply breathtaking across the Lake and the mountains of Donegal. We will certainly return to this fantastic cottage.

With a home from home feel this was the perfect setting and location for our trip down County Donegal memory lane !! It had everything we needed. Was warm and cosy after a day of exploring. so much space. very dog friendly as all downstairs is tiled or wooden. Just 5 min drive from the town centre it's so peaceful with stunning views.

The view from the house was great and it was so peaceful and quiet. Just what we were looking for coming from a busy urban life. We loved the interior and the rooms, which were spacious. Elizabeth has kept the house spotlessly clean and provided all the amenities as advertised. Ramelton was only a short drive from the house, so it was convenient to get supplies/food or go for a pint. It also helps that Elizabeth lives close by in case you need any help.

That may have something to do with it being under-booked as trip advisor reports had mentioned the hotel was being used to house Foreign Nationals, but that had absolutely no bearing on our stay. There were no queues in the restaurant, quick service, no noisy night entertainment, fast check-in and check-out at reception.
