This is a great place for a family of different generations. We only stayed 2 nights but I can imagine a week long stay. It is in a quiet location yet still close to sites and restaurants.

Wonderful friendly owners who were always available helpful and full of interesting information. Good wifi and TV reception. Absolutely ideal for visiting Carlingford and other places on the Cooley Peninsula (e.g. Greenore with its unique Victorian tea rooms built by the LNWR in the 19th century and Finn the amazing dolphin down at the beach), hill and forest walks on Slieve Foy. Also good for trips over over the border to Flagstaff (spectacular 360 degree views), Newry, Armagh and Slieve Gullion (spectacular mountain drive up it) and further afield the Mountains of Mourne. We also drove down to the Boyne battlefield and the amazing stone age buildings at Newgrange. It was great to come back every day to our lovely little farmhouse. The girls loved going up the lane to stroke the horses in the field!
