We really can't say enough good things about this house. Literally located in the centre of Oldcastle, close to everything you want to see in this hidden gem of a town. The house itself is modern, spotless, with everything you need. We cooked our dinner in the brand new kitchen, which has a coffee machine as well. The living room area has a TV with Netflix, YouTube etc, and the most comfortable sofa you can imagine. The bedroom was pure luxury, and the bathroom had products you'd be happy to find in a really good hotel. Basically this house is like a really nice hotel room, except it's a whole house. Can't wait to go back soon. 👏😀

Oferecendo vista do jardim e da montanha, o Rathgillen Mews está situado em Nobber, a 19 km da Igreja de São Columba e do Mosteiro de Kells. County living at its best. Located on the top of a rise, in the midst of farmland, this was truly a quiet, restful location. Due to the rural location the key was left in the door, so we let ourselves in on arrival. We were greeted outside by the owner's dog, who loves to play catch with anyone willing to toss the ball to her. Peter came by a little while later and introduced himself and gave us a suggestion to visit Trim Castle as we continued on our journey. The two downstairs bedrooms were of a good size, with the main bathroom located on the same level. Upstairs were 4 twin beds with an ensuite shower room. The beds were comfortable, all facilities were clean and well presented. Peter was a friendly and welcoming host, we were glad to have made this stop on our journey.

O Rathgillen Lodge, uma propriedade com jardim, está situado em Nobber, a 17 km do Hipódromo Navan, a 19 km da Igreja de São Columba e do Mosteiro de Kells. The property was clean and had all the facilities needed. We did not stay here for long enough to use them which was a shame. Definitely recommend this property and would not hesitate to stay again.

O Connells Barn Conversion está localizado em Duleek, a 12 km do Centro de Ecologia Sonairte, a 13 km de Dowth e a 14 km da Colina de Slane. Connells Barn is everything it looks - a smart conversion from a historic building into a most pleasant base for exploring the Boyne Valley and beyond. The host is wonderful and she has thought of everything - the place comes with a manual, and you are well advised to run trough it upon your arrival - it is very informative. The other pleasantries you can find are just too numerous to count, from a welcome package ont the table, to a filing cabinet filled with assorted destinations and activities. Karla (the host) definitely sets the bar high for other hosts. The location is easy to find. It is near too many interesting sites for the time we had, so a lot is left unexplored, but it just gives us a reason to return.

Situado em Duleek, a 6,1 km do Centro de Visitantes de Bru na Boinne e a 12 km do Centro de Ecologia Sonairte, o Connells House Thatched Cottage oferece acomodações com Wi-Fi gratuito e restaurante. 10/10 Could not recommend this place more! 😄 Fantastic location, this cottage is just off the main street in duleek, and right beside TRIBE restaurant (best pizza we have ever had). Karla's cottage was spotless, you could have had your dinner off the floor. Spacious for our group of 8 and beds were incredibly comfy! If your looking for a weekend away, this is the perfect choice!

The host was great, she greeted us on arrival and made sure the property was warm. She showed us where everything was and how to work the heating and wood burner. She left us some milk in the fridge and there were the basic items in the cupboard like tea, coffee and sugar.
