The cottage is over 200 years old and is located on a small farm with lots of animals. The hostess was amazing. She was very knowledgeable, friendly, helpful, interesting and all around awesome. She went above and beyond to make sure our stay was wonderful. I was able to bottle feed a lamb and we collected fresh eggs from the hens for breakfast. We enjoyed the cottage and estate so much, we cancelled some of our plans to chill at the cottage. We hope to return in the future with extended family and rent both cottages.

The hosts went above and beyond for us, providing us with eggs, bread, butter and jam for our stay, we really can't thank them enough for their hospitality. Very clean, with many thoughtful little details such as cereals, tea, biscuits etc. available. Host was very communicative and had turned on the heating for us so we wouldn't arrive late at night at a cold house. Really couldn't ask for more, and we would love to come again.

The owners of the cottage cannot do any more for you they are so nice and very helpful We were over for a wedding and arrived at 3am the lighs were on so was the heating they had left food so we could have breakfast b4 we headed out . I received a text asking if there was anything they could do for us .its 2o mins outside mullingar by car and that's why we picked it honestly this is a find ,we have paid a lot more money for a lot less it is a honest rating of 10 out of 10
