Sheila's Cork Hostel is less than 5 minutes' walk from the centre of Cork. It has a sauna, and offers free Wi-Fi, free city maps and free movies in the cinema room.

Sheila's Hostel is a short walk from St. Patrick's Quay and Cork Opera House. The bus and train stations are very close by.

The people who work here are amazind and very friendly. It is an exciting place with people from different countries. It's really unusual and interesting to hear so many languages in the same place. This place is within walking distance of the beautilul city centre and the view from my window was magical. They are very welcoming!)

The female dorm I was in was only 4 beds (2 bunk beds) with a private bathroom which was amazing. The room was warm and the other guests were lovely! The staff were super friendly and the location was amazing. A short walk to the bus station and easy to walk anywhere in the centre of Cork city.

Looking for a hostel?

Budget travellers know that there is no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a bit more.

Clean room with bunk beds and external private bathroom. The center is a 5' walk away and there is a parking space at kent station for around 10 euros per day.

As soon as we arrived, everything was as it should be. Friendly staff, great location. Support already answered all my questions beforehand, as we had to make a few changes to the reservation. The breakfast was worth the price. The bar of the hostel itself should be praised the most. Every evening something happened, we met new people. We will be back!!

It was clean, quiet, had pretty much everything you’d need. Breakfast options and towel rental and essential such as toothpaste etc were available and really cheap. Staff were brilliant. As a solo female traveler in a mixed dorm I felt safe which is such a relief. I booked on short notice due to a family emergency in cork and was so relieved it was as nice as it was.

The hostel is in excellent condition. Completely refurbished to very high standards. I take a single room and its very reasonable. Much cheaper than a B&B. And so central, with great views of the city.
