Maynooth
A 25-minute drive from Dublin, the Maynooth Campus Accommodation includes high-quality rooms with free Wi-Fi and private parking on site. The campus is just a 1-minute walk from Maynooth Castle and 10 minutes from the train station. St Patrick's Maynooth is an untapped gem. The twin rooms are large and the beds are comfortable, with two pillows each. Bathroom across the hall is perfect and updated. Extra washbasin in room. The campus is beautiful - far more impressive and Oxford/Cambridge-like than Trinity College in Dublin! Go for walks! There is a lovely garden at the end of the campus (to the left of the outdoor breakfast area) and, behind the last building, a wood. In this wood is a quaint old cemetery with a lane of trees bent to make a kind of arch above your head as you walk. The copper beeches near the campus chapel are enormous and beautiful and sing songs. The very capable and friendly staff are just across the large iconic courtyard till 22:00 at night if you need anything. Access is by electronic card. Parking was free as it was holiday time. Some free parking spaces are available anyway at any time. Maynooth is very convenient for Dublin as well as the Bru Na Boinne area, which includes Newgrange. Cannot recommend highly enough. I loved that the modern lift was hidden behind a discreet wooden door in the passage of the ancient building so as to preserve the ambience.

Very happy with room very comfortable very clean great location
Beautiful old building in the middle of picturesque paddocks and woodlands. Great location easy 30 drive from airport. Walk around the gardens next morning was lovely. Went into town to the “Flying Salmon” pub and experienced a great traditional Irish pub. Full of friendly patrons and staff. A fantastic way to start your holidays.
We visited here for a night during a trip to Dublin. Such a great base for Dublin travel, close to the city but much quieter and safer and peaceful. Charlene who was working at reception was very welcoming and friendly. My wife and I were travelling with our 17month old daughter and we all enjoyed the trip. Breakfast was also excellent.
A cheap location half an hour west of Dublin. Great for travel to the capital on a budget, a night in Dublin could easily cost the same as a week here. Basic rooms and facilities.
Second time staying here, great location, couldn't hear a sound from the bar downstairs. Looks and feels more expensive than it actually is- luxury experience on a budget- win win! Stayed here one of the coldest nights of the year and was cozy and warm
The heated pool was so lovely and safe. The breakfast choice was great. Rooms were a good size for my family of 4. Seoda is an excellent place for lunch. So close to Maynooth town. And a great location for visiting Dublin.
