The area on the ground and first floor. The room for 4 people was clean with toilet and shower. The bed is comfortable. I like the buffet for breakfast, the best breakfast in the hostel that I’ve ever eaten! And there is a luggage room in the hostel, that’s very convenient for early checkin and late checkout.

Just a 5-minute walk from Dublin’s lively Temple Bar entertainment district, this modern purpose-built hostel offers affordable accommodation within the very heart of the city. Very clean, and the dorm's layout was good, with the entrance and bathroom far enough from the pods as to not disturb others if one leaves or uses the bathroom. The mattress in the pods was thin but comfortable, and inside there are 2 different lights (a dimmer blue one, and a stronger one), and 2 USB type A ports. The dorm also has a large, pin based locker for each pod that you can set on arrival.

The Oliver St. John Gogarty hostel is situated in the heart of Dublin’s cultural quarter, Temple Bar. The hostel offers private and shared accommodation with free WiFi and breakfast included. Authenticity of Irish people, from there in my descriptions were accurate and eventually the hostel exceeded my expectations. In knew they were authentic but that was a crush.

They got them pod beds , sort of a capsule with a curtain and it's like you have your own private space even though you are in a shared room. Highly recommended. The staff is friendly and helpful, Johana (sorry if the spelling is off) and Fernando, you are Stars.

And the staff at the front desk (especially the Brazilian girl with eye glasses...sorry I can't remember her name) were incredibly hospitable, friendly and enthusiastic. I found all of them very professional and a joy to run the hostel and greet guests. I could see it every day. It is a very comfortable and cosy to stay. It has a very nice garden and a big kitchen. There is no elevator, but walking up and down the stairs is good exercise :-) All the guests who stayed were also nice.
