Situated in Limavady, 15km from Benone Beach, Carrowmena Family Glamping Site & Activity Centre features a range of accommodations including Luxury Bell Tents & Glamping Pods, onsite playpark & coffee pod with a selection of outdoor activities that run daily in the summer months. Guests staying onsite have access to a fully equipped communal kitchen including ovens, kettles, toasters, fridges & microwave. I purchased Carrowmena Primary School in 2007, the building was in disrepair and needed a lot of work. We secured funding and got the old school up to Northern Ireland Tourist Board, Hostel standard. During my research I realised that to make this a full time job I would need to add something more. With a lot of research & having traveled around the world I realised that Outdoor Activities would work very well alongside the accommodation & would package well together as the whole 'Experience'

Carrowmena Family Glamping is situated at the foot of Binevenagh Mountain in the beautiful Roe Valley, in Limavady, Derry-Londonderry, N Ireland. We have 6 Glamping Pods & 11 Bell Tents in total which vary in standard. All onsite guests have access to our communal kitchen, toilet & shower facilities. We offer a range of action packed outdoor activities onsite for all ages and abilities. We are a FAMILY Glamping Site. We DO NOT accept adult group glamping bookings at all.

Beautiful walks at the Roe Valley Country Park, kids indoor play areas, swim pool and leisure/fitness facilities. We are located 8 miles from Benone/Downhill Beach, 5 miles from Binevenagh Mountain Range, 20 miles from the Causeway Coast, 10 miles from City of Derry Airport, 13 miles from Derry City & 60 miles from Belfast.
