Lough Currane in Waterville is world-renowned for the quality of its salmon and sea trout fishing. This popular lough is just a few feet above sea level, with a stunning backdrop of majestic mountains and spruce forests. Fly fishing is most common on Lough Currane during fishing season which is from January 17th – September 30th each year. The pretty seaside village of Waterville is the only beachfront village on the famous Ring of Kerry route. Located on the Iveragh Peninsula, it is home to the Kerry Dark Sky Reserve –a perfect place for star gazing. You will be surrounded by magnificent scenery and a variety of popular walks to explore from this large coastal holiday home. The trails that surround this holiday home make it an ideal base for a walking holiday in Ireland.     A refundable security deposit of EUR 200 must be paid upon check-in. This will be pre-authorised on your debit or credit card upon arrival and automatically released off your card after departure, subject to an inspection of the property. Payment by debit cards will charge the security deposit of EUR 200 to your bank account which is manually refunded by the property within 7 days of departure. This will be after the on-site manager has inspected the property and is satisfied that the terms and conditions of rental have been complied with. Please note that failure to leave the accommodation in a clean and tidy condition may result in the loss of all or part of your security deposit. Please note that the property reserves the right to charge in advance of arrival an increased mandatory security deposit of EUR 500 at certain times of the year. For example, during festivals, certain sporting events or public holidays. You will be contacted by the property with regards to this prior to arrival.
