This cosy shepherds hut is nested in a quiet and natural surrounding. It is equipped with a comfortable double bed, a sofa, shelves and hangers, a table and chairs as well as a kitchen shelf and portable gas cooker and electricity. There is a balcony to the front on which you can sit outside and enjoy a nice relaxing dinner or just a glass of wine while watching the sunset at the end of a beautiful day around Lough Derg. A full bathroom is located close to the wagon with a toilet, wash hand basin and electric shower.

Meeting Tree Accomodations is located in walking distance to the village of Mountshannon with direct access to its harbour, swimming area by the lake, restaurants, pubs and Cafés. From Mountshannon you can have a wonderful boat trip to holy island with guided tours of the monastery island. The area is also great for water sports, fishing and hiking and you can enjoy a beautiful view across the lake from the mountains and visit a 5000 years old Bohatch dolmen on the way. Other close villages like Scarriff or Whitegate and towns like Portumna and Killaloe are close by and have a lot to offer, too. You can find shops and restaurants in Scarriff and Whitegate, just a short drive away. You can also visit a weekly Farmers Market in Killaloe, Carboot sale in Tuamgrainey or explore the wider East Clare area, even the Burren, the famous Cliffs of Moher, Bunratty Castle or Cragganowen or enjoy days on the west coast of Ireland with its beautiful beaches.
