Donegal House is centrally located in Donegal town. The house is a fully restored townhouse retaining many of the original features such as original brickwork and historical features the building itself has a long history of warmth and comfort. it was recently refurbished to incorporate modern featured while retaining some of the old beautiful features. *Please note there is no lift (elevator) in this property, it has three flights of stairs. There is 4 rooms on the first floor, 3 on second floor and another 3 on the third floor.*
Donegal house was established in January 2023, it is a family run business whom have lived in Donegal town their entire life. Our aim is to provide you with affordable, comfortable and perfectly located accommodation while exploring our beautiful Donegal and surrounding areas. *Please note there is no lift (elevator) in this property, it has three flights of stairs. There is 4 rooms on the first floor, 3 on second floor and another 3 on the third floor.*
Ideally situated near the mouth of Donegal Bay, Donegal Town boasts a panoramic backdrop provided by the Blue Stack Mountains, a stately castle, a friendly population and an array of hotels and restaurants fit for every traveler and every taste. Existing at the head of the Bay, it is almost a foregone conclusion that Donegal Town boasts a thriving marketplace. However, it is also a center of tourism due to its location at the convergence of three main roads from Sligo, West Donegal and Derry. Swimming, fishing and boating are among the recreational offerings of the area; golf, horseback riding and tennis round out the outdoor activities, while indoor entertainment includes dancing and cinema. The largest little village in Northwest Ireland, Donegal Town has around 3,000 inhabitants and marks the entryway to the untamed wilds on the county.
