Kilcrohane village is 4.5km from Sea View Sheep’s Head and overlooks Dunmanus Bay in West Cork. This is the last coastal village on the Sheep's Head Peninsula after Durrus and Ahakista. Kilcrohane lies under the Shadow of Seefin and is also close to Caher Mountain. In the summer the Kilcrohane Carnival brings a festive atmosphere to the local area, a wonderful celebration with craic agus ceoil. Visit the Sheep’s Head Producers market and shop where you will find food and crafts created by local craftspeople and artisan food producers. Explore the Sheep’s Head Way walking route which trails the entire coastline of the Sheep’s Head Peninsula. Many of its most spectacular loop walks extend from trailheads around Kilcrohane. From behind the village take the Peakeen Ridge Loop Walk and discover spectacular views across Bantry Bay and Dunmanus Bay.
