Excellent breakfast and dinner and location

We had an amazing dinner at the hotel - it was super delicious. The view from our room of the garden was lovely. Rooms had everything we needed. Staff were very accommodating and it’s a late checkout which was appreciated

This is a very well appointed and thought out property. It’s very comfortable and clean. The rooms are spacious with everything you need including some lovely touches like robes and plenty of towels. The bathrooms are legendary as are the breakfasts. Dinner is good value. It’s not pretentious but the staff are welcoming and are very helpful. The owner is always on hand for anything you need.

Loved the location 👌 just a walk 🚶‍♂️ away from the city centre 😀 all shops were very close 😀 our dinner was 💯 💶 fabulous 👌.

Reception staff were so helpful and very kindly sent tea to my room on arrival, the lady at desk immediately realized I was a bit stressed due to my car breaking down. Wait staff at dinner and breakfast couldn't have been more helpful, an absolute pleasure.

The staff are outstanding, friendly and happy. Always checking to see if they can help in any way. Beautiful room in a historic inn. Food very good as well.

Friendliest staff I've ever come across at a hotel. They all seemed happy to be there. Can't commend them enough. The food menu was simple but very good. Best burger I've had in Ireland. The room was very well furnished and very modern despite the rustic appearance of the Inn, making for a very comfortable stay in a lovely setting.

This guest house was so much more than we expected. We gave a little notice that we needed a vegan option and we were provided with a full menu, with gorgeous options, including a homemade dessert. Everything was homemade, down to the pastry we had with dinner. The service was exceptional and so friendly. The rooms were beautiful, sparkling clean with a gorgeous view and a giant bed. We couldn’t recommend Hanora’s Cottage more. The hike in the Nire Valley completely capped off what was an exceptional stay.

The Garrandarragh Inn is a wonderful place to stay. The tavern part is a beautiful stone-walled structure built in the 17th Century, while the hotel rooms are modern and comfortable. We had a great stay and the owner Richard was a pleasure to deal with. Top marks for the food also, which was exquisite.
