Ballymahon
Skellys features a garden, terrace, a restaurant and bar in Ballymahon. Located around 21 km from Athlone Institute of Technology, the inn with free WiFi is also 21 km away from Athlone Train Station. The inn has family rooms. Friendly staff, great bar, would totally recommend staying here
Felt right at home in the house, it was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed to cook our own dinner. The fire was lit for us when we arrived which made the house even more cosy
I had dinner in the (busy!) restaurant on both evenings which was good but overcooked (steak/fish) Room was on top floor but no lift which was a little difficult for me. However it was really quiet and spotless
Loved the room. Great coffee a complete bonus in the room . Mint tea .. definitely a winner
The Glebe House is a peaceful, serene, and tranquil location in the very heart of Taghchinny in Longford. We had an amazing time ⏲️ of rest and hospitality. Linda is an amazing, great host. Breakfast was great, and we were spoilt with pampering by the host.
Lovely family run hotel located in Arvagh. Room was very clean. Staff were exceptional both in the bar and restaurant very efficient but most of all very friendly.Dinner was very tasty, couldn't fault it in anyway. We will definitely be returning in the future.
The house is as restored 18th/19th century residential home and it has been done with great taste. About 7 minutes walk from the house is a very good restaurant/pub called The Rustic Inn. I had a very good 3 course dinner there - their wine list is very good considering that its a small rural village. The combination of Abbeyview house and the nearby restaurant makes this an ideal setting for a short visit to the locality
Welcoming, clean, spacious, bright and airy. Very comfortable. And a big winner for me is that dogs are welcome. Hard to find dog friendly b&b these days!
You can use the kitchen to have breakfast or to have a quick dinner. Very comfortable beds. Nice staff, it's easy to communicate with them
Susan is a wonderful host - nothing seemed too much! We had a wonderful room with a stunning bathroom, the breakfast was delicious. We enjoyed exploring the surrounding area on foot - walking along the tow paths on the Royal Canal, taking in part of the Famine Way. The Rustic Inn is close enough to walk and the food is very good.
Beautifully restored house and host was so welcoming. Just on edge of village where we could have dinner in the Rustic Inn
