Climb up to the top of the wall and take a hike around the town that was besieged for months back in the 1680s. Evidently, not much is known about the inhabitants then, as the same information is repeated over and over.

We took one of the City Walking Tours started by Martin McCrossan twenty years ago. This tour was absolutely superb. The history of Derry and its city walls is fascinating and it is easily the best thing we did on our visit. I would thoroughly recommend it to anyone.TonyUnited Kingdom
