After being battered by wind and rain at a local campsite we decided to take refuge at the alcock and brown.the was no lift to the top floor which for my wife with a slipped disc was most uncomfortable. We had to move rooms due to the bathroom flooding after having a shower.towels the size of hand towels and rough on the skin.no visible tea and coffee facilities until we noticed a sign on the cupboard. Cheap awful instant. So went out instead.there were electrical safety issues with a partially fixed metal desk lamp which could've gone live at anytime.the one bedside lamp was help together with electrical tape! Second room door wouldn't latch so have to slam the door. Lingering smell of deep fat fryer oil so had to open windows which then makes the door rattle. We decided to cancel the last two nights and take a loss by losing 100 euros.booked a luxury loch side hotel with pool, spa and other amenities for less!! Be prepared to pay for on street parking at 1 euro an hour. The only upside was the lovely lady south African bar staff.what ever she's being paid it's not enough.
