Our visit to the Rock of Cashel was a definite highlight of our trip to Ireland. We got a wonderful guide who sounded and looked a lot like a young Maureen O'Hara who just told us story after story about the castle and its history. Wonderful!!
The Rock of Cashel is restored enough for tours and general safety, but still a ruins. There is a secondary building with some furnishings.
