My favorite place that we stayed in Columbia. The location is breath taking, safe, and walking distance from Minca village. It took us 20 mins to walk from our favorite restaurant Lazy Cat to the house. The whole area is fenced and you will get a key for the gate. There's a solid bamboo bridge for crossing the river, which was calm and shallow at the time. We enjoyed every walk, especially by night and I recommend to take a head torch with you. It's a great experience to stay in the jungle, separated from mosquitos and other insects but almost outside, because part of the house construction are nets. You can watch the mountains, nature and moon from your bed. In the morning you will be awakened by a gang of chickens and turkeys:D. The rooster is definitely the king of jungle in this area. The place is spotless, spacious, and very well maintained. The hosts are such lovely, responsive, helpful and welcoming folks. We enjoyed the simple but delicious breakfast and fresh fruits. There are many attractions and hikes nearby. Thank you for a wonderful time and memorable experience ♥️

Sierra Alta Finca Boutique ligger i Bellavista, 13 km från Minca och 23 km från Santa Marta. Här finns en trädgård. Kylskåp och kaffekokare ingår också. I de egna badrummen finns gratis badprodukter. Stunning location ,Pilar is an incredibly attentive host nothing is too much trouble for her . She introduced us to her guide Richard who took us on a fabulous excursion on horseback ..she also arranged our transport from Santa Marta The hotel is a real gem in the Sierra Nevada and the food was the best we had in Columbia...make the effort to visit you won't be disappointed!!

Offering a private beach area, Playa Pikua Ecolodge is a solar-powered property situated in Guachaca between two rivers and the Caribbean sea. We were here on our honeymoon and it was perfect. Amazing place in a grate location. Wonderful staff, wonderful service, simply the best romantic getaway. The best bed anyone can hope to get outside of your own home.

Amazing place a little outside of Minca, perfect to enjoy the peace and quiet of nature but still close enough to walk into town. Great breakfast, very friendly hosts and the absolutely best view! The hammocks are also a big plus:)
