The room was large, comfortable And beautifully decorated. The whole Manor House was filled with antiques and wall hangings suitable to the period. View was sublime, food was superb, staff all excellent. Highly recommend.

Set in beautiful gardens in the heart of Connemara, the romantic Abbeyglen Castle Hotel has tennis courts, a spa bath and stunning views of Clifden and the Twelve Bens mountains. You won't find a better welcome or more hospitable hosts anywhere. The food is excellent and the entertainment in the form of chat and live music in the bar is unbelievable. The Hughes family and all of the staff could not do more for you. A real gem.

Although our room didn't have a sea view the manicured gardens still retained their Irish wilderness. Will definitely be back
