A truly unique magical experience for those who wish to get away from it all. Straight out of a Jane Austen style novel😁. The host could not be more welcoming or helpful. Providing a garden, Kearney's Cottage B&B offers accommodations in Killenard. This bed and breakfast provides free private parking and a shared kitchen. The owners were wonderful and could not have been nicer, the continental breakfast was top class. There's a pub only 4 minutes walk up the road that has great food. It's a very beautiful peaceful area , I slept like a log.

Preston House enjoys a location in Abbeyleix, 19 miles from Athy Heritage Centre-Museum and 21 miles from Kilkenny Railway Station. Oh my goodness, where do I start?. This is an absolutely stunning little property that is being maintained to retain its authentic Victorian character. Our bedroom complete with ensuite, which is often not the case in older, heritage properties, was a fantastic size, furnished with period style pieces and screamed quality. No expense has been spared by the owner in terms of the quality of the bed and bedding and I really want the name of his cleaner. The place was absolutely spotless, even though there would appear to be a bit of building and maintenance work ongoing. The owner Ross, is a lovely and committed host whose only concern is that guests have a great experience. I will most definitely make a point of going back to this beautiful, luxury but very affordable accommodation.
