The location was amazing - Cong is a very picturesque village and the ruins of the monastery are only a two minute walk from the hotel. Couldn't recommend this hotel highly enough, we will certainly return in the future!

With a swimming pool and gym, the historic Breaffy House Resort is situated in 101 acres of woodland estate. Located just outside Castlebar, it is less than 5 minutes’ drive from the town centre. The facilities were amazing. Restaurant was super good. The gym and pool were of a very high standard. Our room was excellent. It was my husband's birthday and they had a special dessert plate sent up to the room. The grounds are awesome too. Lots of walks to appreciate nature
