A very warm and friendly welcome was the start to four pleasant and interesting days in the area. Our room and the beds were very comfortable. We very much enjoyed the traditional cooked breakfast - a great start for the day! Thanks again to our host for the frienddly and generous hospitality!

Only 600 metres from Westport Harbour, Glenderan is set within 1 acre of beautiful gardens with a pond and pretty patio. Free private parking is offered.

Full Irish breakfasts are freshly cooked to order each morning, and guests can choose from a number of alternative breakfasts, including continental options with fruit, yoghurt and cheese, porridge, or scrambled egg with smoked salmon.

We had such a wonderful stay at Glenderan! Upon check-in, we were warmly greeted by Ann and shown to our big, beautiful rooms! The beds are luxurious, the furniture and decor gorgeous, and there is so much space to relax and unwind...we immediately felt at home. Ann gave us a good recommendation for a dinner out and answered all of our questions about getting around the town and getting to a nearby beach. The next morning, things got EVEN better with a delicious and customizable breakfast...so many options and everything SO good, you will want to stay multiple mornings just to try everything! After breakfast, we took our coffee to the sun room and got to stroll the beautiful gardens on the grounds, which we could also view from our room windows. On our last morning, we talked more to Ann about particulars of the tourism industry in Westport and learned a lot. Our only regret is that we didn’t get to stay longer. Thank you, and we hope very much to be back in the future!!
