There was a restaurant withing walking distance and a small grocery store nearby in Cheek Point Village. The house was very comfortable and clean. There was an electric fireplace/stove that gave the living room a nice cozy atmosphere. We were close to the car ferry, just a few miles down the road. We used the ferry to go to Hook Head Lighthouse and Johnstown Castle (on two different days). Enjoyed both places very much (not to be missed).

Ate in the restaurant two nights in a row, chose from the bar menu - lovely food served by the brilliant Bernadette. Also, it was great to have secure parking right beside the hotel.

Being a little outside of the city meant that it was quiet, relaxing and most of all a beautiful place for a night stay. We enjoyed the atmosphere and the ambience that Rhu Glen provided. Unique facilities include the hot tub in the sheltered outhouse, the covered barbecue area and exclusive carpark. The perpetual peace and easy access to local attractions make it an ideal choice for small families or groups with suitable transport.
